The DRZ 400 Rear Carry Rack was the first of its kind, designed by B&B Off-Road. This has set the path and design aspect for most of our Carry Rack range. The main structure is made from a 4mm aluminium 5083 structural grade plate. This plate was chosen because of its extreme suitability for welding, abrasion, and impact resistance, bearing in mind the total weight of the load it was made to hold.
We incorporated a tubular frame for maximum strength, rigidity, and other benefits. The tube ‘not only’ finishes off the rack with a clean, slick, smooth look but can also be used as a tie or grab rail, perfect for dragging your bike out of deep ruts. If the subframe of your bike can handle the load you want to carry, our rack is more than capable of holding it.
Do you need to carry a larger luggage option? Our luggage plate extensions provide a more extensive platform surface with 14 outer strap slots. They also come pre-drilled to bolt on an Overland Fuel mount and fuel cell when that next fuel stop is just a bit too far. Or a Givi Monokey universal mount kit to attach the Givi Top Case
It is supplied with the necessary stainless bolts and fasteners, or steel zinc coated where possible. All of the B&B Off Road products are completely hand-tig welded by our skilled team.

NOTES
The B&B rack mounts through the rear guard and into the subframe. Please check your model before purchasing to see if your bike has a rear subframe. It’s more common with international editions that there is no subframe to attach the rack.
